FAQ

A. I use a wide variety of cosmetics; Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, Urban Decay, Jane Iredale, Benefit and several trade brands.

A. Yes of course. I would suggest this is carried out sooner rather than later, as dates are not secured until the booking fee is received.

A. No, due to the number of enquiries, it is not possible to secure any booking without a booking fee.

A. Yes, Saturdays/Sundays and Bank Holiday’s – Makeup or hair only bride plus 3 others. Hair and Makeup Bride plus 1 other.

  • £100 non-refundable or transferable booking fee to secure your wedding – payment by bank transfer.
  • Trial fee on your trial date – cash or card on the day
  • The final balance due 14 days before your wedding day – payment by bank transfer.

A trial run is generally 6-8 weeks before the wedding but this can be earlier or later to suit you.

Yes, for both yours and my peace of mind I insist on a trial run session for every wedding booking. This only needs to be for the bride but I am happy to offer trials for mums or bridesmaids too.

What I suggest is that you have a good think about what sort of makeup and/or hair style you want. Bring along photos of styles that you like, photos of your dress and any accessories such as tiara/veil plus your makeup bag. You need to come in your normal day makeup and your hair can be washed that day but it needs to be DRY when you arrive to the trial run session.

For wedding makeup or hair only trials, I allow a 90 minute appointment. For hair and makeup trials I allow 2 hours. The trial run appointment is held at my home in Longlevens, Gloucester – on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 9.30am and last appointment 3pm. This is an informal relaxed appointment where we discuss the theme of your wedding, look at images of your dress, makeup and hairstyles that you like then I style the look for you. I will fix your headdress/tiara and veil, then take photographs and make notes so that we can replicate the style on the big day. You are welcome to bring along a guest to help with decision making if you like. If you would like to bring more than 1 person please let me know.

Yes, more than happy to style your hair using clip in hair extensions. They can be used to add volume or length to hair and are a great way to achieve a hairstyle that you thought might not be possible with your hair.

You need to provide hair decorations for you and your bridesmaids (tiara/veil/diamante clips etc.) and lipstick/gloss for makeup clients plus cups of tea for me!

I bring everything else we need; all I ask for is that you prepare an area with a dining/kitchen type chair (straight back, not too high backed) and a table for me to place equipment on. I need everyone that I am styling hair for to be ready with DRY hair for when I arrive. We will discuss this and timings at the trial session.

In the unlikely event that I’m ill on your wedding day, I will arrange for an equally qualified Artist to complete the services for the same agreed upon terms of payment. If I am unable to find a replacement artist, a full refund (including the booking fee) is provided.
